Telegram Storage

Overview

Telegram Storage is a project that allows users to store files in Telegram messages and access them through a web user interface. This storage solution takes advantage of Telegram’s file transfer capabilities, allowing users to send files of up to 2GB each. The files are stored on the Telegram server indefinitely.

The Telegram Storage project aims to provide a user-friendly interface similar to popular cloud storage services like Google Drive or Dropbox. It also offers end-to-end encryption for added security.

Please note that there is no public instance available at the moment due to funding limitations.

Installation

To get started with Telegram Storage, follow these steps:

1. Add the Telegram Storage bot to a Telegram group and make it an administrator.
2. Type “/link” in the group chat. The bot will send all files to this chat.
3. The bot will send you a token to register for the web user interface.
4. Register in the web interface using the token provided by the bot.
5. Set a password for your account. Note that this password cannot be recovered, and currently, there is no option to change it.

Please be aware that leaving the group chat is not recommended as it may cause issues with the bot and message retention.
