Installation

To install OBS-web, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure you have OBS v28 or higher installed, which includes the latest OBS-websocket plugin.
  2. For OBS v27, manually install OBS-websocket v5 plugin.
  3. For older versions, use OBS-websocket v4 plugin along with OBS v4.
  4. Enable the OBS-websocket server in OBS under Tools -> obs-websocket Settings -> Enable WebSocket Server.
  5. Optionally, use a tunnel service for remote control outside the local network.
